The Kemetic Tarot relies on essentially the most highly effective Egyptian magic found: “The E book of Going Forth by Day”, a e-book of spells and ritual magic designed to help the traveler’s ka (soul) on its journey from the mundane world to the non secular world of the Duat (the afterlife), and eventually on to everlasting life in Aaru (the Egyptian Paradise).
This new version of the Kemetic Tarot options the wealthy, vibrant artwork of the earlier version, in a bigger format (about 20% bigger) that showcases extra element than ever. Within the Veil of Aset Version of the Kemetic Tarot, the full-color guidebook has been expanded to incorporate dozens of tales of the Neteru (the Kemetic Gods), and a model new e-book, “The Veil of Aset: Tales of the Goddess” contains a number of tales of the Goddess Aset. We have additionally included a model new, bigger embroidered card-carrying bag, and two launched two new bonus Main Arcana playing cards, and included the crystal tjet (an emblem of the Goddess Aset) safety amulet.
The Kemetic Tarot infuses conventional tarot archetypes with historical Egyptian magic. The playing cards inform the story of the Idiot, the scribe Ani, on his journey by the fabric world and the supernatural world of the underworld, on his quest for everlasting life.
The Main Arcana playing cards (the Neteru playing cards) embody the highly effective forces represented by the Kemetic deities and supernatural entities, akin to the good goddesses Aset (Isis) and Nebet-Het (Nephthys), and the gods Ausar (Osiris), Set, and Khonsu, amongst others.
The Minor Arcana (the Remet playing cards) deal with Kemetic fits of ankhs, scarabs, scepters, and swords, which map on to the standard fits of different tarot decks.
